The Teams Playing Hard for a Chance to Represent India

After 30 minutes of regulation time and extra-time yielded no goals in the final, the winner was decided by a penalty shootout. Rishi Kothari, Cathedral’s keeper, made some fabulous saves to ensure his school came out on top and will now represent India at the World Finals in Munich in May 2016. Better still, they will get a chance to watch a Bundesliga match at the legendary Allianz Arena! Other youth who stood out during the tournament were Akshunna Tyagi from Nalanda Public School who won the Player of the Delhi NCR Leg award, Krish from St. Lawrence who won the Player of the Mumbai Leg award, and Mundhiir from Treamis World School who won the Player of the Bengaluru Leg award.

U Dream Football Gives Talent a Chance

U Dream FootballEvery young footballer dreams about making it to the big leagues. Every child starts playing football as a hobby, but for some, football becomes their whole life. How to Take a Team Photo – 101

The Bundesliga has evolved to become a model that leagues around the world could (should?) follow – highly technical, great crowds, huge local fanbases, financially viable, sustainable and, most importantly, with a massive focus on grassroots football and youth development.

However, this isn’t about any of that – it’s about a brilliant Hamburger SV team photo featuring every player representing the club from the Under-11s onwards right up to the first team squad. What’s awesome is that they’ve even found a spot for the team mascot – Hermann. What’s even better than awesome? They’re set up in the shape of the Hamburg club crest! And that, friends, is how you take a team photo. 👍
